# skaljegpaski.dk | Ski trip countdown

skaljegpaski.dk is a small, playful ski trip countdown by Lucas Frey Torres Hanson. Choose a departure date and time to see how long remains before your trip. The answer to the site's skiing question is always yes: it is encouragement, not a weather forecast or a safety recommendation.

The live countdown runs in your browser. Your chosen date is saved locally on this device and added to the page URL so you can share the same departure with friends. Use the share button for native device sharing or a copied link. Shared dates use each visitor's local time, not a fixed timezone.

You can read this guide without JavaScript; the interactive countdown, date persistence and sharing need JavaScript. This site does not book trips, sell lift passes, or provide snow reports, resort opening times or avalanche advice.

## How to use the countdown

Open [the homepage](https://skaljegpaski.dk/), select a departure date and time, and use the share button. A shareable example is https://skaljegpaski.dk/?date=2027-02-01T17%3A00. The date uses the visitor's local timezone. The live countdown is computed in JavaScript, not in this Markdown response.
